"Beautiful Big Blue" was my first foray into a style of music I'm calling "banjo EDM" which has now become one of my favorite styles to work with.
This song fuses clawhammer banjo folk with tropical house and EDM elements for an energizing and cheerful mix you're not likely to find anywhere else.
The message of this song is about shared humanity. It is an embrace of the collective journey we are on as we cruise together on this planet through the "beautiful big blue".
A huge thanks to the award-winning producer Ovi Bistriceanu who produced, mixed, and mastered the track (he even rented a banjo and learned to play it in order to add a few extra banjo riffs).
