I currently live in Vancouver, BC with my roommate Pete Z. I've been very happy lately. Feeling productive and pretty at ease about my projects. Things are really moving fast for me, and I'm just surrendering to whatever happens.

I found a great marketing agency to help me out with my online presence and marketing my music. I've just started working with them, and I'm very excited for it.

I've been working on a social media strategy and have lots of posts planned for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This is a big shift for me, as I didn't even have or use social media at all for the past year or so. I thought I would feel really uncomfortable on social media, but I actually feel great! It's fun. People have been really encouraging, and I've met some great collaborators. Things are good.

So much going on...in early July I did a photoshoot with Karolina Turek, who is soooo encouraging and fun to shoot with. The images are so beautiful!

I was like, wow. These photos are awesome!!! It's crazy to see how a photographer can see you in a different way than you see yourself. During the shoot, I caught myself thinking, "really? I don't think this pose/vibe looks good on me..." but lo and behold. She knows what she's doing!

Around the same time in July, I signed up for banjo lessons from Devon Wells in Coquitlam, BC. He's such a good teacher. I've learned a few classic folk songs. I love it so much.

Work is great. We continue to grow our team and revenue. We experienced a significant SEO/traffic/algorithm issue this past month, which was a little stressful but also a great opportunity to learn a ton of technical SEO stuff.

August so far has been a really positive month. I'm really happy with my progress in music, and very encouraged by the positive reception on social media.
